NephCure is proud to recognize the inaugural Membranous Nephropathy (MN) Awareness Day, a day dedicated to raising awareness of this rare autoimmune kidney disease that damages the kidneys' filtering units (glomeruli) and can lead to chronic kidney disease or kidney failure if left untreated.

MN most commonly affects adults between the ages of 40 and 60, though it can occur at any age. Because early symptoms—such as swelling and foamy urine—are often subtle, many patients experience delays in diagnosis and treatment.

Every person living with Membranous Nephropathy deserves access to expert care, effective treatments, and hope for the future. That's why NephCure is committed to advancing research, providing patient education and support, and accelerating breakthroughs that improve lives.

This MN Awareness Day, YOU can make a meaningful impact. Your gift helps fund groundbreaking research, expand patient programs, and move us closer to better treatments—and ultimately, a cure.

Make your gift today and help create hope for everyone affected by Membranous Nephropathy.

Meet Seferiana

At just 30 years old, Seferiana was diagnosed with Primary Membranous Nephropathy (MN) after unexpected swelling in her ankles led to a kidney biopsy. Once an avid half marathon runner, MN dramatically changed her life—causing painful swelling, multiple treatments, and years of uncertainty as her kidney disease progressed.

Today, Seferiana continues to fight with hope while sharing her story to raise awareness for everyone living with MN. She dreams of a future where no one has to endure the challenges she faced.

Your support helps make that future possible by funding research, advancing new treatments, and bringing us closer to a cure for Membranous Nephropathy.
