September 19 & 20, 2019
Healthcare Professional-Focused CME Event: Thursday, September 19, 2019: 5:30-9:00 PM
Patient-Focused Event: Friday, September 20, 2019: 8:30 AM-4 PM
This CME event is dedicated to knowledge sharing around Nephrotic Syndrome and clinical trials. This Rally will help further clinical practice in an area that contains large knowledge and performance gaps. Without a forum, a large gap develops between the research and the day to day care of patients. The result is an uneven quality of care and missed opportunities for patients to gain access to new treatments and clinical trials. Sessions will detail the complexities of treating Nephrotic Syndrome patients, the wide variations of patient reactions to treatment, prevention strategies, and the optimal management of care. Expert faculty will present the most current research issues and practice recommendations to support clinicians and providers in the care of patients with Nephrotic Syndrome. Additionally, nephrology has lagged in the coordination and execution of clinical trials and a session will be devoted to educating attendees about interventional research.
